December 28, 1949 - October 31, 2022
Wichita, Kansas - Danny Alyois Holst, age 72, of Wichita, Kansas and Naples, Florida passed away on Monday, October 31, 2022. Danny was born to Alyois Efford Holst and Joyce Marie (Bishop) Holst in Dayton, Ohio. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.
Danny grew up in Salina and Topeka then worked for Hawker Beechcraft in Wichita from 1987-2011. He was also a singer/songwriter who passed his love of music on to his children.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Aully and Joyce Holst; wife of 15 years, Debbie Swanson; and brother, Larry Holst.
Danny is survived by his partner, Hoa Tjaden; daughter, Jocelyn (Martijn) Bolster; son, Brandon (Elizabeth) Holst; stepdaughter, Jessica (Jeff); grandchildren, Corrine, Jasper, Hunter, Whitman, Evan, and Sawyer; sister, Denee (Charlie); and a host of nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Danny will be held Friday, November 4, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Funeral service will occur 10:00 AM, Saturday, November 5, 2022 with visitation one hour prior, both at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E. 13th Street N., Wichita, Kansas 67206

I have such fond memories of Danny growing up. He was a warm and loving person and always had that beautiful smile on his face and his laughter was contagious. May God wrap his loving arms around all his family and friends and give them the inner peace that only God can give.
