She is survived by her husband Richard of 49 years, 2 sisters and 3 brothers. She was born in South Haven, KS to Louis and Mary Martin. Memorials to the Kansas Humane Society. Richard, You have hopefully made it through the first year and even though it will seem like a bad dream at times, it gets a little less painful with each passing year. I have found that instead of grieving so much I am now becoming more and more thankful at what a wonderful person I had for all those years to share my life with. Richard, I have not seen Delores in many years but I really enjoyed her bubbly personality. I am so sorry for your loss. I have been told your grief never seems to get better but one gets better at dealing with it. I am still working on that one and it is getting easier.
