Coach Nutter was a great man. He was my phys ed teacher at Kelley and later on in junior high and high school, you could always tell who had had Coach Nutter as a teacher. They were dedicated, perfectionists, and had a lot of pride in themselves and their abilities. I was lucky enough to have Mark in my class too.

Years later, taking my roommate's son to school one day, I noticed that Edward Nutter was the principal. I went to the office and looked him up. It took him about 2 minutes to remember my name and exactly where he know me from. He was always so involved in our lives that he remembered things like that.

Prayers for comfort to the family. He left his mark on this world and he will be missed.

I remember Mr. Nutter as a USD 259 PE Coordinator. He came to Buckner Elementary in the late 60s/early 70's to teach us a new game - Soccer! I never could figure out the game -still don't understand it - but I will never forget his passion for teaching!

Joan -

My first memory of "Mr. Nutter" was when he came to Kistler Elementary and led our gym class on the proper use of the floor-wheel scooters. Eddie was such a fun teacher! Little did I know the family connection. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Mr. Nutter was my physical education coach at Kelley Elementary during the 60's. He was a great example to us. I always enjoyed his class, especially learning how to square dance and those indoor scooter races on rainy days. Rest in Peace, Mr. Nutter.

I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Ed at Kelly Elementary, 1965. Ed was a great physical education teacher and administrator. Was a model as a teacher, administrator and a devoted family man.
My condolences and prayers are with Joan and family.
