Cheryl, Beth, David and Roger. I am very sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of your Mother. She was always so nice to all of us "Margaret Mary" girls growing up in South Wichita. We know Aunt Max, Mom, Aunt Helen, Uncle Robert, Grandma and Grandpa are having a wonderful time in Heaven. She was a very special aunt to Chuck and me and I felt fortunate to have been given my middle name after her.

We were saddened to see the obit for Maxine in the paper today. We had the privilege of spending some time with her at the White family reunion a few years ago in Moundridge and enjoyed that time with her. Our families were not only related but very close from the early part of the 1900th century on, including many years in and around Burrton, KS. My mother, Mildred Verlon White Smith, was named after Maxine's mother Verlon Foley and Maxine's half sister Mildred Verlon Kelly was named after my mother. It is our prayer that the good Lord will comfort you and that the many wonderful memories of Maxine will bring smiles to each of you as time passes. The children of Calvin and Mildred Smith
