Floyd Yoho Obituary

Yoho, Floyd Lee, was born Dec. 21, 1949, in Wichita, to Noel and Clara (Gumpell) Yoho. He died Nov. 19, 2014, in Wichita, at the age of 64. Floyd was a maintenance manager at Boeing and later Spirit and he loved to fish and hunt. He is preceded in death by his parents. Floyd is survived by his wife, JoAnne; sons, Douglas (Emily) Yoho, Matthew Yoho; a daughter, Jamie (Matthew) Lehl; a brother, Gary (Janice) Yoho; and a sister, Sharon (Jon) Nelson; 5 grandchildren. Memorials have been established with American Cancer Society. A celebration gathering will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 24, with a time for special memories at 5 p.m., at Old Mission Mortuary. Floyd and I were childhood playmates. We would play at his grandparents farm which was just over the tracks. He was my best neighborhood buddy. So funny. He will be missed and our prayers are with the family.
