Nelson Van Fleet practiced law in Sedgwick County for a long time, and I had many opportunities to see him and work with him. He was always professional, prepared, and a total gentleman. He was a credit to his profession, and his family should be proud of both his legal work and his public service. He will be missed.

What a gentleman. Nothing upset his calm and reasonable demeanor. I knew him as an opponent but over time considered him a friend. Sorry to hear of his passing.
