Uncle George and Aunt Ruth were often far away; but my memories as a child was when they were visting they were always happy and laughing. Uncle taught me how to be a catcher in baseball; which I did for a number of years. I remember pitching to him in our alley ball diamond and amazed at how far he hit the ball. In later years, we live on the other side of the United States and could not see each other; but all I know is the Susie, Terry and Aunt Ruth and Uncle George are wonderful people and when I retire I hope to see Terry and Lela Sues' familys and get to know them.

George & Ruth were very good friends to my parents when they lived in Wichita, Kansas. I have very fond memories of time spent with them and they were like family. Some day we will have a great reunion when God calls us home!

To Sue and Terry and families. I learned of George's passing from a classmate in Wichita. So sorry to hear of your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. I called mom to let her know. She is 92 and still living at home, although it is getting more difficult for her. Al is in Caldwell for a visit and Larry retired there.

We loved George Bonham. He is now in the presence of God and sharing that moment with his lovely bride Ruth.

In the early years of Hospice Ministries Mr. George and Mrs. Ruth were precious volunteers. Both were very special to me, our patients, and our organization. They were selected as Volunteers of the Year for their many hours of visits to patients. What wonderful memories you must have of these two extraordinary people!
