I will always remember Gerald as wild and crazy in our younger days, and still lot of fun after we all grew up and got our rough edges smoothed out. Always a great musician and friend. He will be missed, but the love is still here.

I remember listening to you play at King Author's? I think. That was another time that your band got the gig instead of my band...which was not rare...I truly enjoyed your music. I am blessed to have heard you play with Pond recently, and I am truly sorry for not accepting the invites you sent me to the gigs and Halloween parties.
Rest in Peace Gerald, may Perpetual Light shine upon you, and may God forever bless you.

I still find it brings tears to put Gerald and Love in the same sentance but those words belong together. Gerald always was, and always will be, one of my most cherished friends. We had so much fun together back in the day. What a great guy to be around and a talented musician and band leader. I would not have had the opportunity to participate all those years playing music if it were not for him. True to form, he arrives at the gig before I do. I have no doubt I will see him again at the ultimate Union booking but hopefully not for quite a while ;-). I will miss but remember him often and fondly until that day.
