Ila Hale Obituary

Hale, Ila Mae, 63, retired Central Ticket Agency secretary, died Wednesday, March 9, 2005. Ila Mae was born July 1, 1941 to Albert Otis and Lillian Iantha Geyer Young near Carlyle, Kansas. Ila and her family lived in Carlyle and later moved to Iola, KS, where she attended junior high and later graduated from Iola High School in 1959. On July 11, 1964, she married James Otis Hale, Sr., in Wichita, KS and this is where they made their home. Her husband, James and her parents preceded Ila in death. She is survived by her four sons, James, Jr., and John of Oklahoma City, OK, Claudie and his wife Diana of Mulvane, KS, Ronnie of the home and one daughter Tammie of Wichita, one sister, Rose MarieYoho of LeRoy, Ks and her dear friend (whom she thought of as a sister) Carol Sheldon of Wichita. One granddaughter, Ella Grace with whom she referred to as her angeland one grandson, Dalton Neal. Funeral Services: 1:30 p.m., Friday, Cochran Mortuary. The family would like to thank Odyssey Hospice for the wonderful care and compassion they provided for our Mother and the emotional support they provided us during this difficult time.
