Please disregard my previous comments which were for another person with a similar name in Wichita but still alive who we thought passed away. Please accept my heartfelt apology as this was only a mistaken identity.

When we were high school students at Kapaun, we met on the bus and became life-long friends. We were in scouts together, worked on cars together, drank together, hung out with mutual friends, were cowboy actors together at Joyland, went hunting together. Jim wrote books, I wrote poetry. Will I miss him? More
than I can say. I hope his children will keep in touch. I believe he was born in 1943, not 1953, please correct this.

I met James when we were both lay volunteers visiting the sick at Wesley Hospital. We soon became friends as I learned of his passionate interest in all things planes and firearms. He gifted me some of his literary works and opened my mind to his great creative imagination. I shall miss this one-of-a-kind soul. He left an imprint on this world that shall not soon pass away. God keep you Jim and may heaven be everything you imagined.
