I remember Jimmy as a young boy walking over to spend time with my brother Mark while they worked on Mark's car or just hanging out in the backyard. He always had a big beautiful smile on his face and I'll not forget his exuberant wave. God bless Jimmy's family and friends and all who were fortunate to meet this kind soul. Rest in peace Jimmy.

I had the pleasure and honor of growing up with Jimmy and his family. I can still see him walking down the street when he came over to our house, waving with a big smile on his face and calling out to me. I cherish the memories of him helping me work on my cars and motorcycles. We lost touch as I got older and moved away from the neighborhood, but was caught off guard one day at work when I heard his familiar voice calling out to me. Turned out he was working part time for us and he saw me and approached me with the same love and kindness that he had always shown me. I will always have fond memories of the friendship that Jimmy showed me.

I am saddened to learn of his passing but know that he is with our Lord in heaven and hope that I get to join him someday. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

I was honored to be one of Jimmy's teachers way back when he was young. He seemed to be the happiest kid in the classroom, even when I sternly corrected him on something. I know he brought joy to a lot of people, and the world is a better place for those who knew him. God bless the family and all of those who worked with him over the years.

Jimmy was a sweetheart every time we saw him. When my sister, Kathy & I would pick up our other sister, Linda @ Encore, Jimmy would come up & say Hi & how are you doing. Always a bright smile & pleasant greeting! He was a gentle soul and happy guy and will definitely be missed by his Encore Family! Rest in Peace, Jimmy Love from Linda who just passed February 12th and our Family.

Jimmy was the spirit of UMC and more importantly, strove everyday to reflect his savior Jesus Christ. If you hadn't seen Jimmy in a year or a day. He greeted you the same way. It was a great day because he got to see you and it had been too long since he had seen you. Jimmy loved you because you were you. I will miss his shadow on this earth, but I will rejoice with him when I see him in Heaven and he says: "Tom!!! It is so good to see you! It has been too long, welcome into Heaven!" Then Jesus will smile at us both!

Love ya Jimmy, see you soon.

Jimmy was a wonderful ambassador for Central Avenue UMC. He greeted everyone who came through the door with a handshake and/or hug. Jimmy was one of the sweetest people I have known. My condolences to the whole family.

Jimmy was a beautiful soul, and could turn around any bad day with a bright smile and well, hi there! Or a sweet song with his guitar. He will be truly missed by so many who loved him.
