Sandy, so sorry to hear about Joe's passing. He was always the steady, even-keeled voice when I was attempting to do something obnoxious, or just plain stupid (i.e. rope my bike over one of your trees!). I hope you are your family are doing well.

To the Family of Joe Gault,
Joe and I became friends at Wichita State University. We studied together since we were both in Aero Engineering. I met Joe's dad when prairie chicken hunting near Garnett KS. I happened to be in Wichita where I saw his obituary in the paper. He was a great guy and I am sorry to hear of his passing.
Sincerely,
Clark Beck

Dear Sandy, My dad just called & told me of your loss. I am so sorry. If we had only known, we would have been there for you yesterday when you laid him to rest. Tell Cindy, Jana & Cathy that we love you all & you are always in our prayers. If there is anything I can do & I mean anything, please do not hesitate to call me. I'm in the phone book.

Dear Sandy and Family, By now Joe and Herb might be flying model airplanes in heaven. Hope the Angels are able to "duck". Chop and Jake are probably picking up the pieces and re-gluing. You are such good friends and we shared many great times together. Those memories will warm our hearts on cold wintry days.

My thoughts are with you all during this time of loss. I think of Joe every time I see my "Rose of Sharon" hedge in the back yard and how he dug them out of his garden for me.

Well,it has been a long time since our little group of turbulence experts were together at Boeing. But I remember it well and one of the best was Joe Gault. You were a great engineer, a really smart mathematician and an all around nice person. My sincere condolences to Sandy and family in this difficult time. George Jones (Wichita KS)
