Dear Folks:
I was fortunate enough to have been a colleague of Julia"s back in the 6th grade through 12th, upon graduating from Bishop Carroll. She was one of the most thoughtful, compassionate, and caring person I´ve ever known. And the voice, the voice of Mary M, whom she portrayed so beautifully. RIP...my sister.

I was shocked and saddened to hear about Julia. She was a very good friend to me during a difficult time many years ago, as well as being a classmate at Bishop Carroll. May the Lord comfort you in your time of loss. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Julia was a true inspiration to many people. Her courage and positive attitude have had far reaching powers. I ran in the Race Against Breast Cancer in Topeka last weekend and wore her name on a ribbon to honor her. She will inspire me and others for years to come.

I have been out of the optical business(Burlingwood Optical, Topeka) for a few years and that is where I know Julia and Kenny from. Julia was a bright and beautiful lady inside and out and will be missed. May her faith give comfort to you knowing she is with our Lord and Savior surely smiling brightly.

I have missed Julia coming to our office. We use to enjoy visiting about our jobs and our families. We always had a great time laughing and giggling when she was here. To the multitudes who loved Julie:
I am SO very sorry for your loss. I lost my oldest sister 11 years ago and I still miss her. (And my Mom just a month ago.) That hole in your heart never goes away, but it does get smaller with time. It helps to remember the good times you had together and how much you love them. I tell my 4 year old daughter that Grandma lives in our heart now, and she seems to understand.
Julie had THE MOST beautiful voice! I idolized her when I was a freshman and she was a senior at Bishop Carroll. When she sang
"Make Believe" and "You Are Love" (from ShowBoat) with Joel McNatt in Carrollesqe that year - it took my breath away - I can still hear her in my mind. And now she is joined with the Cherubim and Seraphim and the choirs of angels in the "Big Choir" up in Heaven.
May God Bless each of you in His own quiet way. And may Julie rest in peace.

Libby, you know I love you and your family. Your mom meant more to me than you know. She helped me with some issues in my life that I've struggled with....she was an amazing woman.
