Dear Phil,
I was so sorry to learn belatedly of June's death. She was such a blessing in the lives of my parents (Helen and Joe Brewer). Always interesting and thoughtful with a generous and playful spirit that made her company such a joy.

Phil,
We were shocked and saddened at the news of June's death. We always enjoyed visiting with you two at the symphony and Turnip Club. Her classes at East Wichita Shepherd's Center were well researched and interesting. She gave so much of herself. Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

I wish there was a full bio of June. She lived such an inspiring life as an amazing, graceful advocate for peace and a safe nuclear policy. June worked on Donald Betts' campaign, contributing well thought out background pieces. She was always beautiful inside and out, a truly lovely person who made me feel good every time I ran into her. She gave out affection and support with her generous smile. I wish I had taken the time to find out what was happening with her this past year instead of letting terminal busyness hold my attention. I regret not having more time with this wonderful woman and feel sadness at the loss this world has suffered with her passing.

Dr. Allen,
May it comfort you to know how many caring thoughts are with you at this sad time. We will always remember June as the environmental person on our block. We enjoyed the many visits as we met while walking around the neighborhood. We miss seeing both of you and hope your new home with friends nearby will bring you solace.

She should not have any regrets...an environmental health activist and a friend with a soft soul.
