Wichita, Kansas - Kathleen Kaye Hamlin, of Wichita, KS passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2022, age 74.
Kaye was born to Ronald and Barbara Brown on September 4, 1947. She graduated from Wichita East High School in 1966. Kaye married James L. Hamlin on March 1, 1970. She was employed at Beechcraft from 1975 to 2009.
She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and aunt. She is survived by husband, James Hamlin, daughter and husband, Angela and Ryan Stateler (Wichita), son, Tony Hamlin (Arizona), grandson, Christopher Hamlin (Oklahoma), brother, Mike Brown (Derby), and sister, Jo Brown (New Jersey). She leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
Kaye was a married to Jim for 52 years. She enjoyed camping with her family, painting, gardening, and had many other hobbies.
She was preceded in death by parents Ronald and Barbara Brown and sister, Nancy J. West.
A graveside service will be held Monday, August 29 at 10 a.m. at Resthaven Garden of the Gospels, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, KS 67209.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Botanica Butterfly House, 701 Amidon St., Wichita, KS 67203 and Ronald McDonald House, 551 N. Hillside, Wichita, KS 67214
