Keith S. Dillmon

EL DORADO - Dillmon, Keith S., 90, died October 24, 2012 at Vintage Place in El Dorado, Kansas. The Celebration of his life will be held 3 p.m. Saturday at Trinity United Methodist Church. Keith's family will receive friends starting at 2 p.m. on Saturday also at the church located at 430 N. Eunice in El Dorado. Keith was born August 3, 1922 in Gothenberg, Nebraska. When he was 2 his family moved to Denver, Colorado. He graduated in Denver from The West High school. Keith was a veteran of WWII serving his country in the Army-Aircorps. He flew 50 missions in a B-24 bomber as a gunner in the European Theatre. After service he met and married Wanda Cashdollar in Denver September 30, 1951. They came to El Dorado in 1963 and Keith worked more than 35 years at the Skelly Oil Refinery. Memberships included Trinity United Methodist Church and Patmos Masonic Lodge 97. Keith loved to square dance, travel, go camping, read, do Crossword Puzzles and be with his family. Surviving family include one son Mike (Kathleen) Dillmon of Andover; daughters, Susan and Rodger Burton of Liberty, Missouri and Janet Hastin of El Dorado 6 grandchildren, Krista, Scott, Grant, Matt, Sarah, Allison; four great grandchildren; and special neighbors Ron and Julie Zirfas. He was preceded in death by his wife Wanda, 1 brother and 2 sisters. Memorials established with Vintage Place or Trinity United Methodist Church.
