I was saddened to hear of Ken's passing. We attended Leverett Elementary School together and while we did not stay in touch I remember birthday parties, sneaking gum in class, and Halloween candy! As a cancer survivor myself, I know that it takes its toll on family. Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dear Dana, Natalie and Ashley,
As you know, Ken was my roommate at KU for a semester, but remained friends through college and life. When I think of him, I remember his zest for life. Aeronautics was always his passion and it duly culminated into his lifelong career. But there was the personal side of Ken that was always caring, about his friends and, most importantly, his family. He gave his all to anything that he held dear. My greatest memory was Ken studying in our dorm room at KU. As I recall, at his desk with David Letterman blasting on TV and BonJovi blasting in his headphones. That was how he studied, and he aced every test! (I had to go study in the dorm stairwell, LOL.)
I know, just from knowing him, how much he deeply loved each of you as well as all of his family. I will miss him very much.
May light perpetual shine upon you Kenneth A. Lieber.
With the upmost respect and love, Dan Hall

My husband & I were sad to hear about Ken passing away at such a young age. Ken and our son ,Dean, became friends when they were going to KU & we always thought he was such a nice guy. He was a groomsman when our son later married.
Condolences to your family & we will continue to keep you in our prayers.

Heartfelt condolences and prayers to the Lieber family from ours. Ken was the consummate professional both as an engineer & test pilot. And for nearly 20 years his example made me better at both as we worked projects together and apart. Thank you Ken for your friendship, mentorship, and wit. The Flight Test community will miss you and remember you.

Dear Dana, Natalie, and Ashley,
I was shocked and saddened to hear about Ken. Although I never got the chance to really get to know him, when I was around Ken, I felt he was a very warm, caring, and brilliant man that would do anything for anybody.
It's had to find words of comfort at a time like this, but know you all are in my prayers asking God for peace and understanding in your lives.
Love you.

Of the many times I had the privilege to be a passenger when Ken was flying Citations my favorite memory is of the Skyhawk flight Ashley, Alexis Grisham, and I took with him.

My deepest condolence to the bereaved family. I remember, when I was in Wichita last time year back in 2011. He was a very energetic, sporting person and always smiling. it's a great loss for the family at his very young age. May God gives enough strength to his family members to bear this loss and pain at this juncture. May his soul rest in peace.

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope.
I developed a 15-year friendship with Ken as we worked together on many Citation flight documents. He was great to work with.
May the Lord comfort you today and always.
