Wow I can't believe it's been a year without Kimmie. I still think of her just about everyday along with other love ones that i've lost. Oh man I remember Kim, Sabrina, Trina, Erin and I working together and having such a blast. Brylee is Kim in my eyes. I miss her so much.

I heard some disturbing news last night from a friend back in college. That still lives in Kansas. And I said, no, not Kim. I just talked to her like last year Jan/Feb. And she never mentioned to me that she was sick or anything. Kim and I meet in August of 2000. Right away, we clicked. We stayed together in college at Allen County. I just can't believe this. We had sooo much fun together. I even stayed at her house sometime when we would have time on the weekends. Mom, dad, Pat, I love you guys and know, she that she really loved all of you, so much, of course you all know that. Now, she has a little girl, and I know, with having a friend like Kim, I know her daughter is going to have a warm and kind heart just like mom. I can't believe she is gone, I kept telling her I was coming there to see her and I never made it. She meant a lot to me. I love you Kim, and I will never forget you or what you did for me and how much you was still a friend to me, even after college. Girl, remember Taco Bell and all your frogs (smiles). Man....I love you Kim and I can't believe this. To mom and dad. Thanks and I actually called your house this morning and left my phone number, please call if you need anything, especially for your greanddaughter.

I just found out today and still trying to take it all in. Steve and Darci (Mom and Dad), I love you both very much. You are in my prayers and Kim will live on in my heart. She is in a much better place now, with out pain and suffering. She would want us to be strong and remember her beautiful smile and her wonderful personality. Kim was always the life of the party and had a very warming presence about her. She has left us with her beautiful daughter to remind us how great she really was and will always be! Love, Virginia

Well, it's been a few weeks since I spoke of Kim. It's just so hard to believe that she is gone. I think that if it's okay, that Sabrina and I will go and talk to her and put some flowers by her final bed. God only knows how much we miss her. Darci, Steve, Brent and the rest of the family, please stay strong. Thats what Kim would want!

Darci ,Steve and family, it's very hard to find the words to say how much Kim will be missed. She has obviously impacted everyone's lives she came in contact with.... what a great gift. All those carefree summers at the pool, swim lessons, swim team, swim meets,(all those sunburns), and some of the best cooking on the grills. I can still see it like it was yesterday, sitting in the lawn chairs watching the kids having the best summers of their lives. Thats what it's all about, and those are some of the best memories of my life. Kim will live on thru her daughter, and that is one of the greatest gifts of all. Darci, you and Steve have been constantly on our mind, and Kim in our hearts. Sincerely, Michelle and Doug Ballard

I will always remember Kimberly including me whenever we were together. (Well, whenever our mom's were together.)I always thought she was so cool because she was older than me. At the North High Dance Show, she would always come find me before I would dance to wish me good luck. She will be missed everyday.

Kim and I met in x-ray school at Newman and we became best friends right away. Kim always had me laughing through all the boring lectures we had to sit through and insane situations we had to deal with in our clinical rotations. She was such a shining light in my life and helped me get through a great deal of pain. I'll never forget the day she found out that she was going to have Bryliegh. She was so excited and nervous at the same time. She was such a wonderful mother and friend. Her and Brent were always such a fun couple to be around and I will always remember all the fun times we had haning out and clubbing together. I'm so glad that I met her. She was a huge influence in my life and I hope that I was to same in hers. My heart sunk when I heard that she had gone to be with the Lord. Kim was like a sister to me. My heart goes out to her mother, father, brother, Brent and their beautiful little girl. You will all be in my prayers.
Please keep in touch with me. I want to be involved in yours and Bryliegh's lives as a tribute for all that Kim did for me. I loved her so much and I will miss her more than words can express. May the Lord be with all of you forever.

The Needhams' are part of my baseball family memories. Pat and my son, Greg played summer ball at West Urban Baseball field and Kim rarely missed a game. She and I sat together on the bleachers and I missed watching most of the game as I was talking and laughing with her. She was a fun and lively spirit. I extend my sympathies to Darci, Steve, Pat and the rest of her family and friends.

I am in the Air Force currently deployed in the Middle East but and stationed in Japan. So I have been away from Wichita for about 6 years now but I have many many great memories of Kim from Indian Hills pool, Swim Team to North High School. She was always happy and full of joy. You never know how special each and everyday is until days like today. I know from the memories that I have from her, that Kim lived life to the fullest. She will be missed and I wish the Needham's and her child the best.
