LaVern G. Meier, 88, died Thursday, January 27, 2022. Rosary will be at 4:30 pm, Sunday, February 6, 2022, Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am, Monday, February 7, 2022, both at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church of Wichita, KS. Preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine (Gerry); parents, George and Pauline (Steckline) Meier, and brother, Dwayne Meier. Survived by children, Russ of Derby, KS, Deborah (Dave) Glasscock of Goddard, KS, Doreen (late husband, Larry) Reed of Wellington, KS; Karen (Tony) Adams of Udall, KS, and Mark of Wichita, KS; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; siblings, Kenny (Donna) Meier of Flower Mound, TX, Joyce (late husband, Norman) Neese of Wichita, KS; sister-in-law, Delphine (late husband, Verlin) Stramel of Hays, KS; many nieces and nephews, and his special friend Marcella Hampton of Haysville, KS. My heart is hurting , How do you say goodbye to such a great dad ? I will miss him so much . The only comfort I have is knowing he will be joining my mom in heaven .

The family has moved the funeral due to the weather. Rosary is Sunday at 4:30 and the funeral is Monday at 10 am.

We moved the funeral due to the weather. Rosary is Sunday at 4:30 and the funeral is Monday at 10 am. Hopefully everyone who loved home will be able to make it.
