Loren Barrett Obituary
Born on March 21, 1935, Loren lived a full and independent life. He built a career with Bonded Collectors and was known as a self-made man who was always available to help friends and family. His generosity and steadfast presence left a lasting impression on those around him.
Loren found joy in the simple pleasures of life-spending time at Table Rock Lake, boating, going on family trips, and socializing with friends at the YMCA. These moments reflected his love for connection and community.
He is lovingly remembered by his daughter Kara James and her husband Tim; his brother Richard Barrett; grandchildren Isaac (Tyra), Kaia James, and Bryson Hibbs; and great-granddaughter Parker. His devoted caregiver Cylesta Peters also held a special place in his later years. Loren was preceded in death by his parents.
A private Celebration of Life will be held on his birthday. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his name to The Greater Wichita YMCA.
May his legacy of kindness and strength continue to inspire all who knew him.
