All my heartfelt condolences, Kathy. I know exactly how you feel, except all the heartache of the funeral details, and that can elicit a lot of sadness.

Hey Kathy, Mark & David, I just wanted to let you all know that the three of you are in my thoughts and in my heart. Cousin Mac was a wonderful man and friend to me. He never missed one of my parties and loved to chat on the phone. Cousin Mac always made me feel good about myself and working at KETCH. I loved talking with Cousin Mac as I did learn so much from him. Everytime Cousin Mac would come over to our home he had some kind of food with him that he had made and it was always awesome. Cousin Mac touched many hearts and lives, my heart is just one of the many. Please know that Cousin Mac will always have a very special place in my heart. Love & Light.

Kathy,
What a wonderful man your dad must have been. I hope you find peace and comfort in your memories of the time you've shared together. Even though you may have been miles apart it was evident that he was always with you and he always will be. We are thinking and praying for you and your family.
With love,
Tammy, Kent, Gabrielle & Madison

I met with Mac last summer to exchange ideas about First Unitarian Universalist Church of Wichita. He brought some literature about courses from The Teaching Company and thought they may be good starting points for a discussion group at the church. I thought that was a great idea. Because of Mac, we rekindled the Adult Religious Exploration program, utilizing some of their courses (he shared some of the courses he had purchased and talked to me about others he had that we might enjoy). He was a steady attendee of the classes until recent weeks. We will miss his wonderful, light-hearted inquisitiveness. Thank you, Mac.

Kathy, sweet Kathy I know how it feels to have your Daddy go away, I miss my Daddy every day,and now it is that time in your life. I wish there was something I could say or do to help you feel better, I am always available to listen if you want to talk or talk if you want to listen. Your Daddy will always be a part of you...so he's never too far away. I did not have the pleasure of knowing your father and I know he must be a wonderful person by knowing you. It will be summer before I am in Michigan, still don't hesitate to get in touch if you want to...day or night it doesn't matter what time. Darrell, Kien and I send our love to you and hope you will be at peace with life in all of it's up's and down's. We love you and send our condolences to other family members we haven't had the pleasure to know.

Kathy, Mark and David:
Our thought's and prayer's are with you. You couldn't have a better Father than you were blessed with. Having married into the Curless family over 57 years ago, and knowing your dad and grandparents all those years, there wasn't a milder manner or soft spoken person any better than your dad! Kathy I hope you'll be able to make it down to Liberal, Mo. again for our family reunion. We appreciate your coming with you dad the time's you made it.
God Bless you all and your familes.

Kath, I say we fire up that smoker and try to make your Dad proud with our own culinary skills (well, yours anyway). I will always remember Mac for his mild manner and quick wit. He had a great spirit and beautiful soul. Even when we thought for sure we were in trouble, Mac would surprise us by simply asking if we were OK. A truly great man!
See you tomorrow when I get in.
Love you!!
Julie

To Kathy and all of the Curless family, know that we are thinking of you and feeling your loss. I didn't get to spend much time with Mac but I knew the instant I met him that this was a wonderfully good man. I'm grateful our lives crossed paths and grateful to know a bit of him will always live in my nephews Adam and Jason.

Kathy, I wish you didn't have to be going through this, or that I could help in some way. I'm sorry I couldn't come out there to be with you. You are constantly on my mind. I love you so much, it seems so strange that you have another family-to me you are ours. Call me when you get home and get a little rest. Love, Susie.
