Mary Gladys "Glad" Consolver

Andover, Kansas - Mary Gladys "Glad" Consolver, of Andover, Kansas, passed away on May 6, 2021 at age 97. Glad was born in Jamestown, Kansas on May 8, 1923 to Clarence and Zella "Babe" Collins. During World War II, she moved to Wichita and got a job on the production line at Beechcraft, where she worked for 20 years. Glad is survived by daughter Cathy (Tony) Durano and her children Lauren (Gavin) Smith and Alex Durano; sister Donna Poage; son Ron Consolver and his children Amy, Carrie Stout, and Darren; daughter-in-law Pat Consolver and her children Don (Erin), Dan (Ronda), and Dennis, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Luther, her sisters Clar Motes and Vi McElroy, and brothers Rob and Earl Collins, step-son Larry, and daughter-in-law Linda. A visitation will be held at Heritage Funeral Home in Andover on May 12 from 5-7 pm, with a graveside service on May 13 at 11 am at Minneha Township Cemetery.
