Michael Bette Obituary

Bette, Michael, 55, owner of Central State Mechanical and full time Jayhawk fan, passed away Oct. 29, 2014. He is preceded in death by his father, Werner Bette; and survived by his wife of 29 years, Paula Bette; children, Ryan, Brandon, and Alexa Bette; mother, Edith Bette; siblings, Thomas Bette and his wife, Linda and Heidi Bette; aunt, Gisela Bette; nieces and nephews, Parker, Hayley, Alex, and Emily. Rosary will be held at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 2; and a funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 3, both at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. Memorial fund has been established with Catholic Family Credit Union to benefit the Bette children.

Paula and kids . I am so sorry for your loss. Having lived next door to you for 16 years you've been great neighbors.I always appreciated Mike's help outside when he would see me working on some task. I always knew that I could count on mike to let me borrow some obscure tool that he surely had in his garage. He will be missed.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you Paula, and your whole family. So glad that softball brought us together, and we had the chance to get to know Mike if even for a short time. I still remember him helping Lexa shop for new cleats, and when he went and bought all those ice cream sandwiches for the girls at the Colorado team practice.
