Abundant blessings to all the family. I never had the honor of meeting Norma, yet knowing Betsy, she must have been a wonderful woman and mother.

Dear Betsy and family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. May God grant you strength, peace, and comfort as you grieve. You were able to give your mom such a wonderful gift as her caregiver and that is so very special. Take care of yourselves and each other.

Betsy, Susie, Dana and all of the family-
What a character your mom was! I remember my lunches with her when I used to go over and visit her occasionally when I worked at Friends and she'd fix me a REAL lunch. :) I'm sure you are recounting good family memories during this time of great loss. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers, and better than that, you are held in the palm of God's gracious and loving hand. And so is your mom. Love, Jeri

I only met Norma Jean once while I rented from Charley on Stadium Drive in Wichita, circa 1959. She was so gracious to me, despite my uncertainty regarding my Methodism, that I found her to be delightful. Roxie Powell
