September 16, 1935 - March 28, 2022
Wichita, Kansas - West, Norma L, 86, died Monday, March 28, 2022. Visitation: Sunday, April 3, 2022, from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm and Funeral Service: 10:00 am, Monday, April 4, 2022, both at Smith Mortuary, Haysville. Burial will follow at Wichita Park Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her son, Jimmie Joe West; siblings, Norman Noordhoek and Elmer Noordhoek. Norma is survived by her 6 children, Leola Berghoefer, Bobby West, Terry West, Barbara West, Arlene Knowles, and Lee West (Tarie); 15 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Jennie Haywood and Melba Hawkins (Bob); and her beloved dog, Lady. Memorials have been established with the Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N Hillside, Wichita, KS 67219.
