March 24, 1942 - October 15, 2025
Derby, Kansas - Pat Farley, loving husband, father, grandfather, veteran, and friend passed away
peacefully on October 15th. He was 83 years old.
Visitation will be from 5-7pm at Smith Mortuary, Derby on Tuesday, October 21st, Rosary to follow at 7pm. Funeral Mass at St. Mary Catholic Church in Derby, on Wednesday October 22nd at 10:30 am. Burial at a later date at Kansas Veterans' Cemetery, Manhattan, Kansas.
Preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Elizabeth Farley, and his brother, Kevin Farley. Survived by his wife of almost 59 years, Nancy Farley, his daughters Kelly(Matt) Kinnan, Lenexa, KS; Tara(Todd) Herrenbruck, Salina, KS; and six grandchildren, Alex, Keirn and Katie Kinnan, Ingrid, Grant(Kate), and Tate Herrenbruck, and brother Bill Farley, Poughkeepsie, NY.
In lieu of flowers a Memorial has been established with St. Mary Catholic Church, Derby, Kansas.

We are sending so much love to you all. Nancy, Kelly, Tara, and the entire Farley family. Jerry, the boys, and I truly enjoyed reading about Pat´s remarkable life and his dedicated service to our country. We were amazed to learn so many wonderful details and achievements we hadn´t known before.
We reminisced about the many ways he supported everyone during the Sacred Heart sports years, his kindness and encouragement left such a lasting impression. I find so much inspiration in knowing that his goodness and spirit live on through his daughters and incredible grandchildren.

Pat was an incredible neighbor, friend and mentor. Our family lived a few houses down from the Farley's as we grew up. Our family's grew together through Catholic faith, military service and our love of sports. Pat had so much love for those close to him. He was a great person to have in your corner through life. I wish all the best for him and the Farley family in the coming days and months ahead.

Pat, his wife, Nancy and daughters, Kelly and Tara have been dear friends since Pat and I served together in Southeast Asia in 1972. Following this tour we served together again in Germany.
Far too many details to share here, but I have lost a friend that cannot be replaced.
He was a loving Husband, Father, and Grandfather. He was a fellow USAF aviator, a true Patriot, one heck of a baseball player and most of all, my Friend.
Rest easy Hawk, we will meet on the other side.
