Dr. Parula: I thought of you and Prakash and found that Prakash had passed away in 2024. My sincere condolences to you and your family. I frequently still tell friends of your wonderful hospitality and how I enjoyed your sharing Indian food with me and Bob. Many thoughts of you and how I treasure the years we had working with you.

Dr.s Raghavan's were my first job as a medical assistant. I loved the way they were with each other and to hear their stories about how they met and how Parula didn't know what alot of American things were, but Prakash did and would do things to make her embarrassed or to just get a reaction. It always felt like a family at work. I respected Mr. Dr. Raghavan so much and I owe much of my medicine experience to him. I paid attention when he would try to teach me things and he did so so eloquently. He wanted to help others understand what he found so interesting years ago... The heart. A very good man and doctor that wanted to help patients no matter if they had the means to pay or not. He was all about the patient and that got my attention and I learned the right way to treat people. Sick people. He was big on "If it weren't for them, we wouldn't have a job". He never gave up on anyone and he tried and would try again until he felt it met his expectations of himself and of what medicine could do. Parula, if you read this I am so sorry for your loss. He was a great man. And I'm sorry that after everything you now have to face this life without him. I understand how difficult that is and I want u to know that I am sorry for your loss. And God bless you! Lean on your family and faith when things get to be too much. That's all you can do.

I have fond memories and utmost respect for Dr Raghavan as one of my mentors while I was a medical student and resident physician. He was a patient and wise teacher - one of the nicest educators of medical students in Wichita.

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved friend Prakash, whom we had the privilege of knowing for over 40 years. A brilliant cardiologist, trained at GMC and Cleveland Clinic, Prakash cared deeply for his patients, always putting their well-being first.
Prakash embodied kindness, fun, and dedication. He had a smile that could brighten anyone´s day and was a wonderful listener, often speaking little but making everyone feel heard and valued. He was a true GMC doctor, deeply committed to his profession. He loved traveling and made it a point to explore new places with you on every anniversary-a true Romeo from the R M Bhatt hostel of GMC.
He loved his children and grandchildren, always cherishing moments with them. Prakash was devoted to his parents and his amazing wife, always ensuring they were well cared for. His joyful approach to life was inspiring, and we feel privileged to have known him.
His presence will be deeply missed, but may his memory offer comfort and inspiration to all who knew him.
Rest in peace, dear Prakash.
We will miss you dearly.
With love,
Satish & Sudha
