Benton, Kansas - Robert (Bob) Allan Brenner, 85, passed away on December 9, 2024. Bob's life was anchored in his deep Christian faith and love for his family, both of which were the cornerstones of his life. His passion for sports was evident from a young age, excelling in baseball and basketball in high school. Later, he played fast-pitch softball, continuing to play the sport throughout his young adult life. Bob was also a lifelong Cleveland Indians fan, a testament to his enduring love for the game. He had a great sense of humor and was known for his love of a good laugh, often entertaining friends and family with humorous stories.

Professionally, Bob made significant contributions to the entertainment industry. He worked as a film director for KAKE TV and served as a Theatrical Technician for prestigious companies like the Joffrey Ballet and Alvin Ailey Dance Company. His leadership was evident in his role as President of the Stagehand Union, and his expertise extended to designing and installing theatrical lighting and rigging systems during his time at T.S.I.

Bob will be remembered for both his unwavering devotion to his Christian faith and his deep love for his family. His legacy is one of faith, love, and a joyful sense of humor that touched all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his wife Cheryl (Benton) and parents Seth and Marie Brenner (Towanda). He is survived by daughter Pam Millar (Scottsdale, AZ), son Scot (Jerri) Brenner (Scottsdale, AZ), daughter Karla (Brian) Pickett (Rose Hill), and John (LeAnna) Brenner (Derby), eight grandchildren: Amanda (Matt), Michael (Kady), Ryan (Sara), Tyler, Emily, Madie, Bryce, and Carston, four great-grandchildren: Crew, Dolly, Beau, and Rosalie. Bob is also survived by brother Randy (Debbie) Brenner (Peoria, AZ), and his nephew, Christian (Denitsa) and their daughter Addaleia.

A service will be held at Hope Community Church in Andover on Friday, January 17th at 10 a.m. in the barn. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the American Heart Association in his memory at heart.org.
