Wichita, Kansas -
Robert Dean Cooper, 93, retired Vulcan Research Chemist, went home to be with Jesus Monday, January 31, 2022. Graveside service will be at 10:00 am, Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at Kechi Township Cemetery. Celebration of Life 11:00 am, Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at Ridgepoint Church. Preceded in death by his wife, Betty; daughter-in-law, LaRita Cooper; a granddaughter and a great-grandson. Survived by his daughters, Lynette (Allen) Lofland, Wendy Saleem, Jo Anna (Paul) Jones, Elizabeth (Robert) Penner, Sarah (Louis) Eilerts; son, Robert Cooper; 18 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren. A memorial has been established with: Ridgepoint Church, 8000 West 21st Street North, Wichita, KS 67205. Downing & Lahey West Mortuary.

My deepest sympathy to the family. I worked with Bob at VMC. He helped me with technical advice, and welcomed me into a lunchtime Bible study. His cheerful attitude and ready laugh made the workday fun.
