A year ago today, the Lord took Daddy up to Heaven, to sit by His throne. We were with him as he took his last breath. His body relaxed and he was no longer struggling for life. We knew that he was finally out of the pain he had been suffering from for so long. We cried... we knew he was gone and we would not see him, his wonderful smile and shining eyes, for what will seem an eternity. This has been a trying year for us all; we have seen our triumphs and what have seemed like tragedies in life. But we know he has been there, watching over and protecting us in our daily walk. Keeping us from taking a wrong step and catching us if we start to fall away from where we need to be. Just as he will until we are together again. We thank you Daddy, for teaching us what we needed in everyday life. Thank you for teaching us to love, honor, respect and appreciate those who we are with and that which we have. The very same values that we are passing along to our own children. Most of all, thank you for being the most wonderful father and grandfather ever.
We dearly miss you and forever love you, Daddy.
Love,
Leigh, Mike, Robert and Zachary

It's been one year since dad's passing, and we all miss him so much. Today at the cemetery, I mentioned to mom that dad had worked hard all his life, and it seems appropriate that he didn't leave until it was "quittin' time," because he went home to Jesus about 5:00.
Dad was a good, hard-working family man, and we're all so proud of the legacy he left. He had lots of friends, and we thank them for sharing their time with him. He loved his wife, his daughters and sons-in-law, his grandchildren, and his great-grandchild. Thank you, Jesus, for the time we had him in our life.
Love 'ya, Dad!

Grandpa,
It's been nearly a year since you passed on. I miss you and we all miss you. Though it is comforting to know that you're still watching over us in everything we do here. I'm thankful for what time we spent together, for every minute we had.
Love you Grandpa,

Cousin Robert,
Not only do your immediate family members love and think of you so often, so do your cousins. You were such a joy to be around and seldom saw you without a great big smile on your face. I miss your phone calls to catch up on the Webb family news and miss seeing your face, which always reminded my family of my daddy. Your friendliness, your jokes, and way of making people laugh was so much like my dad.
You have such a wonderful family and like me, they will always cherish the memories that you left us, which makes us aware that our lives are so important here in earth. Time goes so fast here on earth and some day soon, we will meet together again for a reunion in heaven

Grandpa,
Its funny how it was about a year ago when you were lifted up to be with God, yet, it only feels as if it were yesterday. Everyonce in a while I'll get a heartbroken feeling deep inside of me of the thought that you are not with us anymore, but I get an even larger feeling of comfort to know that you are watching over us, every step of life. I miss you and I long for the day when we will all be able to greet one another in heaven once more. Everyone is doing their part in making sure everyone else is living a happy life. I can still remember those great big bear hugs you gave us when we all were little, and the ones that you still gave us, even though we wern't little anymore. I miss it. I hope all is well for you in heaven. Its must be a great honor to speak with God face to face. Its funny how you're miles up into the sky, but you will forever live in each of our hearts. As a leader, a grandfather, a husband, and a father.
I miss you so very much.
I love you.

Dear Daddy, It's been nearly a year since you left us to answer your call to Heaven, but you didn't really leave us... You're in our hearts and minds every single day. The legacy and love you left behind is instilled in our lives and we carry on for you. You would be so proud of Sara - she's finishing her last semester of college and will get her associate's degree this year. She wanted so much for you to see her graduate, but we know you are watching from Heaven. As for me, I've met a wonderful new man who has taken away the hurt and pain I was in before and is filling my life with joy. Sara adores him... he makes us both very happy. I know you had something to do with that. Thank you! We are all looking after mother and each other. We have become closer and we all take care of each other better than we did before. Still, I miss you so, so much. I miss our talks on the phone, and the empty chair during the holidays is too much to bear sometimes. I'm trying to be strong because I know you would want that. I love you so much and I know someday i will see you again. So I will be brave and keep moving forward, like you would want. God bless you, Daddy. I love you.

Happy Birthday Daddy,
Today you would have turned 78. Your last birthday with us seems an eternity ago and yet it feels like you were just here. We will be getting together later today to celebrate with Christy. The past few days have been so hot. I can just picture you running in cool, green fields and dipping your toes into cold streams of water. Feeling the warm sun on your face and breathing in the clean fresh air. You will be celebrating yet another day in heaven. Not only because it's your birthday, but also because you are with God and those you love. Thank you for watching down on us, wrapping your arms around us to keep us safe from harm. The day will come that we will all be together once again. We can enjoy those green fields and cold, running streams of water. We can all celebrate together. Happy Birthday Daddy. We all love and miss you.
Love,
Leigh

Hi Daddy,
Our first Fathers' Day without you. I know you are enjoying your Fathers' Day with Grandpa and Grandma, now that you are all together again. Mom lost your voice on the answering machine. She's devastated...she listened to your voice everyday. We are all going through all the videos we have of you and your voice for her. The rain has us all depressed. It's needed, but it's somewhat tiresome that we can't get out and enjoy the days.
We all love and miss you so much.

9 months have now passed by and it seems as though you were just here with us. Daddy, I don't think, even after this long of time, that it has sunk into me yet. I know I'll see you again and it will probably be like the time passed even quicker. Please keep your arms around Momma. She has been going through some tough times. She misses you so terribly much and there's not a lot that we can do for her. To comfort her in a way that only you can. I know that you are watching out for all of us. We all love and miss you.
Love,

Hi Daddy,
Today marks 7 months. Spring is here and the flowers that were once asleep have awakened. The family was together for Easter. It will never be the same... I still don't think I've comprehended that you are gone. You are keeping us safe and well and that is more than we could ever ask for. Thank you for being up there making room for all of us. We all miss your smile and jokes that only you would tell. We love you.

It's been 6 months since you took your last breath. How can it be that long ago and yet seem like only yesterday? Your arms have been wrapped around us all, keeping us safe and warm. Please hold Momma especially close to you; protect her from harm. Your touch has kept her going through her recent illnesses. We know you are watching and waiting and helping us through, day to day. I thank God that He is doing the same for you as He also does for us. We all love and miss you so much.

Hi Daddy,
It's Christmas Day and we are without you. Your warm laughs, your hugs and kisses and your smile that lights up any room. You were always so surprised and pleased with the presents you received. I always watched your face with the last tug of the ribbons and opening of whatever contained your gifts. It was especially hard this year, shopping and being tempted to go to the section of the store for a wallet and handkerchiefs. Mom said "Dad could always use mens' handerchiefs". You probably had a good supply of them.
We all miss you so much. Uncle Bob said that we have never known what it is like to not have you in our lives. That's so true. It's like we are having to start over and we are resisting. I know you are watching over all of us, keeping us safe and well. Hold on tight to Momma. She needs an angel with her constantly.
We love you...Merry Christmas.
Love,
Jenny Leigh

Grandpa,
Im sorry I am just now getting to sign your guest book. I feel awful, but I know that your always going to be watching out for me and the rest of the family. Just like Rachel said, Carlos O' Kelly's will never be the same without you. Grandma just got a grant to have a new central heating system put into the house. Sometimes I think that on the days that are not going good for me, you do something to make it a better day for me. (And sometimes I think you help me get good grades at school ;) ) It just feels wierd that your not here anymore to give us great-big grandpa hugs, but when we get up to heaven with you, we will get to enjoy them again. You will always be looking down at us, though the bad and the good. It sometimes get s to me that your gone...but the thought that your watching out for me. I love You

Hi Daddy,
Today marks the 3rd month of us losing you. Your marker has come in and will be put on soon. I'm making an evergreen blanket for you. It's the kind that we put out for Michael Lee. We will be out in the next week to decorate for Christmas. The weather has turned cold again, just in time for Aubreys' birthday. We all miss you so much and Mom is having a tough time not having you here to hold onto. We know that you are watching out for us, keeping us safe. Please hold on tight and keep us from falling when we have tough days. We love you.

Daddy,
It's been a month since you left on your journey up to heaven. We all miss you so much! The days and nights go by, with you always on our minds. Family and friends are keeping us strong. Momma is taking her days one at a time. We are watching out for her, making sure she is okay. And we know, that you are watching over and taking care of us all. That alone, keeps me going day to day and helps to make me strong. I love you, Daddy.

Dear Uncle Robert- You will be missed greatly by all those who knew you and those who loved you. When I think about you, I fondly remember the times spent with you on the farm where you were always giving of your love, time and patience with us kids whether it was helping us fish in the pond or showing us how things worked on the farm...those are memories I'll never forget and always hold dear in my heart. May God watch over Aunt Jean, Laura, Louise and Leigh and help them through this difficult time. God Bless you Uncle Robert and may you rest in eternal peace. With Love, your Niece.

Robert will be greatly missed by the Webb family of many cousins. He reminded me of my own daddy so seeing him in the hospital was very hard on me. He was always thinking of others and when I think about Robert and his life, I recall the many times that he emailed his cousins and asked for prayer for someone in his family and never asked prayer for himself. When his granddaughter had surgery, he was asking for prayer, and when his newborn great grandchild was born early, he was again, on the computer asking for us to pray and when Dee was in the hospital, again he asked for prayer and when his daughter had heart surgery... the list could go on. When I prayed with him a few days before he died, he looked at me and said "Thank you for that prayer" When I saw him one day when he had a miraculous recovery and was alert, smiling and joking, I said to him "Prayer does work doesnt it?" and he said back to me smiling with his great smile
"IT ALWAYS HAS"
He has a wonderful, loving family which showed at the hospital when they were all there night after night. He was ready to go but just wouldnt give up. He was very tough to the end. I will miss my cousin alot and someday, will have a big reunion in heaven with all those that have gone before us.

To The Family of Robert Webb,
I didn't get the time to get to know him as well as I would have liked. What I do know is that he was a wonderful Husband, a loving Father, and a loving Grandfather. I remember all the times we talked as we passed by each other in Walmart and when he and Delores would pick up their granddaughter, Sara, from my house or where ever we were spending time together. My thoughts and prayers are with you all in this sad time. This earth is losing a great man but Heaven is gaining a great man.
I am reminded of something Sara said the other day after Robert passed. We were talking on the phone and she said that at least he would be able to see her turn 21 from Heaven. That is so true and was a great reminder to me that the people I love and have lost are all watching over me and will be there with me when I turn 21. Thank you Sara for that great reminder.
May peace be with you all in this sad time. Your Friend, Tabitha

I praise God for the time we had together, Dad, and I am proud to have been your daughter. I'm so sorry for all the physical pain you must have gone through, but I am comforted by the promise of God that in heaven there is no more pain. You were always concerned about us even as you were hospitalized. We promise to all take care of each other, especially Mom. And we will see you again, Dad, in God's time. We love you very much.
