Shannon Mastellar Obituary

Mastellar, Shannon 48, of Wichita, Kansas passed away on Monday July 16, 2018 in Wichita. Shannon was born the son Gary and Frances Mastellar on March 20, 1970 in Wichita. Shannon joined RDM USA as a Regional Sales Manager. Shannon had a diverse background in Refrigeration and HVAC applications. He had extensive sales experience with Quick Serve Restaurant (QSR) and small format chains. Shannon had a very diverse professional background that will made him an asset to RDM. He was preceded in death by his father, Gary Mastellar; step-son, Christopher Sherwin. Survivors include his wife, Kim Mastellar; mother, Frances Mastellar; brother, Gary "Butch" Mastellar and his wife, Robin. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday July 20, 2018. Celebration of life services will be 10:00 a.m. on Saturday July 21, 2018, both at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E. 13th St. N., Wichita, Kansas. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Wichita, Kansas. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to The University of Kansas Medical Center c/o organ transplant care, 2330 Shawnee Mission Pkwy, Suite 305, Westwood, KS 66205.

Francis, Butch and family,
I was very saddened to hear of Shannon's passing. I send the family my deepest sympathy, and condolences. He was always kind to me, and kept my bratty self entertained with his break dancing when we were younger. He had a lot of talent for a lot of different things! I pray God is washing you all in peace that passes all understanding.

My Sincere Condolences to the family. Shannon and I worked together at ICS for many years and more recently spent a day together in Greeneville TN at our Everidge factory there. May God Bless you all and give you strength and Peace.
