Wichita, Kansas - Sheila Skolaut, 84, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, died Friday, March 18, 2022. Rosary will be at 7:00 pm, Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at Downing & Lahey West Mortuary. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am, Thursday, March 24, 2022, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Preceded in death by her parents, John and Christine Cleary; husband, James Leo Skolaut. Survived by daughters, Gail (Jack) Tatman, Lynn (Terry) Nelson, Joann (Joe) Schmidt; son, Greg (Amy) Skolaut; sisters, Joan Opinante, Mary (John) Meyer; brothers, John (Pam) Cleary, Chris (Sharon) Cleary, Ed Cleary; 7 Grandchildren; 5 Great-Grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with: Botanica, The Wichita Gardens, 701 Amidon St., Wichita, KS 67203. Downing & Lahey Mortuary - West Chapel.
