Viewing from 9-9:30 a.m. with Trisagion and Funeral Service to follow at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 20, at St. George Orthodox Christian Cathedral. Shortly after graduation, she married Don Abraham and moved to Wichita. They had two daughters, Candace and Ginger. Don and Sherry owned and operated Ali Baba Bakery for 19 years. The bakery specialized in pita bread, but eventually made over 100 different varieties of breads. She worked full time at the bakery with Don until he was diagnosed with cancer in 1994 and they sold the bakery. Sherry also worked on the weekends at Abe's Steak House, a restaurant owned by Don's family. Don passed away February 28, 1995. In November 2003, Sherry married Mark Morrow. Their blended family consists of two sons, three daughters, two sons-in-law, two daughters-in-law, five granddaughters and four grandsons. Mark and Sherry split their time between Wichita and Oklahoma City and were active in the Orthodox Christian Churches in both communities - St. George Cathedral in Wichita and St. Elijah Church in Oklahoma City. At St. George Cathedral, Sherry previously served as the overall chairman of the annual Lebanese dinner, and was the baklawa chairman for many years, perfecting the process of making enough baklawa to serve more than 5,500 people. She was active in the Antiochian Women organization serving in several positions including president. She was also former secretary of the St. George Cathedral Ladies Guild. For many years Sherry supported the efforts of Orthodox women by working on the Antiochian Women boards for the Diocese of Wichita and Mid-America (DOWAMA) board and the North American board. She was also a member of the Order of St. Ignatius of Antioch. Sherry made many lifelong friends throughout the United States while faithfully serving her church and God. In addition to Sherry's church activities, she was a member of the Bona Dea Club, a ladies' social club in Wichita, and served as president, vice president, and secretary of that group. She also volunteered at Music Theatre of Wichita and was a member of the Music Theatre Guild, previously holding positions as treasurer, assistant treasurer and chairman of the social committee. Sherry is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Abraham, and her parents, Thomas and Lucille Naifeh. Survived by her devoted husband, Mark Morrow; siblings, Jacque (Sam) Kouri, Tom Naifeh; children, Candace (John) Thompson, Ginger (Michael) Ellis, all of Wichita, Marco (Meredith) Morrow and Michelle Morrow, all of Oklahoma City, Michael (Leah) Morrow of Longmeadow, MA; grandchildren, Elektra Thompson, Zoey and Brock Ellis of Wichita, Marlee, Mackenna and Mia Morrow of Oklahoma City, Andrew, Ryan and Jack Morrow of Longmeadow, MA; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. Sherry and Don were our next door neighbors for over 12 years. After Don died, we kept a close eye on her, and helped her when she needed our assistance. She asked me once about how her new roof was looking, and I told her "really crooked" so we agreed to suggest the roofers start over. She was scared to cross them, but it all worked out. She would ask if I would watch her house when she was gone, and when she would return, she always brought over a plate of baklava. We had some great conversations, and she loved to bask by our pool because we had a fence! A really, really nice person, and so generous.

Our thoughts and prayers are with her family - who was just everything to her.
May God bless her and her loved ones.

May God give you peace, comfort, and understanding during this time of grief. Sherry and I were friends during Jr High and High School. By all accounts she was a beautiful woman inside and out.
