Thomas Mayta Obituary

Mayta, Thomas Owen, 48, of San Diego, CA, formerly of Wichita, civil service employee, died Oct. 30, 2003. Visitation with family 12 to 1 p.m.; service 1 p.m. both Monday, Hope Mennonite Church. Survivors: father, Dwight Mayta; mother, Mary Mayta; brother, Michel Mayta; sister, Terrie Grillot all of Wichita. Memorial has been established with The Name Project Foundation Aids Memorial Quilt, 101 Krog Street, Atlanta, GA 30307.

Tommy & I were childhood friends. I took dance lessons from his mother. The Maytas are family more than friends. It tears my heart to hear of his passing. God Bless.
