As I lay in my bed last week, waiting for you to return a call to me, I prayed for both of us. Then I closed my eyes, and visualized our previous conversation, wherein you said, "I'm gonna beat you there, Mary Lou, but when you come, we'll hold hands and skip like two young girls."
I give thanks and praise now, Dear Tracy, that you are enjoying the perfect protection of Our Lord Jesus.

A flow of memories come over me as a reflect our childhood memories...growing up together to become the women we are. the scrapes we got into...the joy of seeing each other become mothers, our journey that we each knew that no matter what...we had each others back. I know that you still have my back...and are now closer to Gods ear. You will forever be my sister,... my friend.
Say Hi to Jesus for me til I get there.

I am pleased that I knew Tracy for several years. She had an unforgettable personality and brought joy to the people around her. Her confidence and sincere interest in those around her made her unforgettable. Her spiritual knowledge and closeness with Christ is something that I strive for in my own life and look to her as a spiritual example. I will deeply miss her but take comfort that we will meet again. "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28

I worked with Tracy but didn't know her very well. One of the last times I saw her sticks in my mind. She asked me about my job plans (since our facility is closing soon) and asked if I was going to get any help obtaining a new job. I was so touched by her concern and I really appreciated it (and I told her so). We talked for quite awhile about various things but I had no idea that would be the last time I talked to her. I hope her family finds comfort in her memory. May she rest in peace.
