Wichita, Kansas - Wanda L. Ecker, 91, retired USD 259 Educator, born July 10, 1931 in Ottawa, KS, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2022 in Wichita, KS. Celebration of Life will be held 11:00am, Saturday, October 1, 2022 at West Heights United Methodist Church. Wanda is survived by her partner, Jane Hyde as well as numerous friends and cousins. Miss Ecker was one of my PE teachers & Coach at South High. She was always kind & always smiled from ear to ear. She & Miss Lamb were inspirations to my 37 year career as a Health. PE teacher & Coach.
RIP Miss Ecker. I saw her a couple of years ago & she was still smiling ear to ear! Heaven gained a Happy smiling Angel ...
