Rest Wilbur, until you hear at dawn, the low, clear reveille of God. Thank you for your service to this nation. U.S. Army, WWII.

Enjoyed visiting with both Aunt Erma and Uncle Wilber, when it was either here or back in Kansas. Will miss seeing and visiting with him. He was a good Uncle to visit with. Love Patty

I did not grow up around Uncle Wilbur, but when my father (Kenneth Smith) would take me, my sister, and brother back to Kansas for a visit from California, we would always go and see Uncle Wilbur. He was always very sweet to us,and very caring. He was a prince of a man. I will always have fond memories of Uncle Wilbur. The Lord has him now, and for that we rejoice! To the family, I give my condolence. I am sure he will be missed by all. May God bless you all in this time of loss of a husband, father and grandfather.
Blessings

Erma and family,
"We weren't around Wilbur very often, but enjoyed him when we were. I really enjoyed getting to know him better before, during, and after Lucille's last years. He was a good Christian man who loved his family. Our thoughts and prayers area with you at this difficult time."

Wilbur was always the steady, honest, capable guy that led by example. He always gave the prayers at our many dinners and we could tell they were heard. He is closer to God now.

I didn't see much of him in the last few years, but Uncle Wilber was always the greatest. I have so many fond memories of him. He was so talented, always able to build something out of nothing and it always looked worth a million bucks. I always use to tell mom and dad that it wasn't fair that your family had all the looks and talents. He has left a great legacy with all you kids. We loved you and will miss you Uncle Wilber

Erma ~
We always enjoyed seeing you & Wilber at the dances at Orchard Park. Wilber seemed to have a wonderful time & was so friendly to Ron & I. We've missed seeing both of you for quite awhile. May the Lord be with you in the days ahead.

Didn't get to visit as much as I would have liked, but from all the times that we were able to make it out there I really enjoyed our visits, He never made you feel out of anything and even though my kids were young when we came out there we all had a nice time. Thank you Uncle Wilber. We will miss you Love Ron, Robin,Travis and Lisa Clark

Erma, we so loved Wilbur. He was so much fun to be around and always a smile on his face from the very first day we met him over 20 years ago. We will miss him! Love, Elaine,Dean, Mallory & Nolan
