Anna Van De Berghe Dusselier

Anna Van De Berghe Dusselier, 95, of Shawnee, KS, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2005, at Shawnee Mission Medical Center. The Mass of Resurrection will be 10 a.m., Saturday, May 14, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Friday at the church where the Rosary will be prayed at 6 p.m. Mrs. Dusselier was born July 27, 1909, in Kansas City, KS, to Ceasar and Euphrasia Bonne Van De Berghe, and was the last surviving of their 10 children. She was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church; St. Ann's sewing circle where she enjoyed making baby clothes for the needy; the St. Joseph Keenagers; the Belgian American Club; and the Good Shepherd Silver Liners. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Frank Dusselier, of the home; daughters, Barbara and the late Robert Isom, Chicago, IL, and Cynthia and Ron Wosel, Shawnee, KS; sons, Jim and Sharon Dusselier, and Steve and Rose Dusselier, both of Shawnee, KS; 13 grandchildren, Annette Isom, Robert Isom, Patrick Isom, Timothy Isom, Philip Isom, Brian Wosel, Andrea Wosel, Alesia Dusselier, Lauri Dusselier, Jeff Dusselier, Kristy Metzger, the late Kevin Dusselier, and Justin Dusselier; and 11 greatgrandchildren. Anna enjoyed socializing with her many friends and spending time with her grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the many visitors and those who sent their prayers during her illness. The family suggests contributions to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
