Barbara Hutton Obituary

Barbara Lou Hutton, 65, Belton, MO, passed away February 15, 2006, at St. Luke's Hospital, Kansas City. Services: 2 p.m., Monday, February 20, McGilley & George Funeral Home, 611 Chestnut, Belton, MO. Visitation: 2-4 p.m., Sunday, at the chapel. Burial: Belton Cemetery. In memory of Barbara, contributions may be made to Heartland Family Ministries, 810 S. Cedar St., Belton, MO 64012; or Cancer Institute of KC, 4320 Wornall Rd. Suite 212, KCMO 64111. Barbara was born on August 1, 1940, to Charles and Helen Miller in Brock, NE. She moved to Belton in the late 50's. Barbara was a homemaker. In 1987, she began working for Transilwrap Company, retiring in 2003. She was a member of TOPS for 20 years. Barbara enjoyed crocheting, movies and her church. Survived by husband, Lee Hutton, of the home; five children, Robert and wife, Rosemary Hutton, Wichita, KS, Susan K. Lucas, Belton, MO, Donna and husband Donald Hale, Kansas City, MO, Thomas Hutton, Belton, MO, Clarissa and husband, John Olson; sister, Debbie Fluette, Belton, MO, niece, Jenny Fluette, Belton, MO; 13 grandchildren and 8 greatgrandchildren. Clarrisa,

I remember your Mom very well. She was a very sweet lady and I will always have good memories of her.

Not everyone in this life has the opportunity to have a great Mom, you did, I'm sure you know that.

We are all very sad to hear about Barb, I had hoped to see her back in Pulmonary Rehab. One thing that struck me about Barb right away was how strong she was and how hard she fought to regain her health.
