I can not believe it has been 10 years. I loved this man as if he were my own father.

I am grateful for the life of Mr. Breeding. Thanks to his service and to the service of others in our armed forces, my family and I have been able to lead our lives in freedom and peace.

I came to love Ben as a father figure, he came into my life at time when I felt I needed him more than he needed me, but as time went on we both needed each other. Ben had a smile that could warm you all over.

Ben was a wonderful person. I saw the deep love that he had for his wife Betty as her health declined over the years. He had great love also for all creatures (he would collect acorns to feed squirrels during the winter, cleaned the wounds of an injured dog, and gave a diabetic cat it's daily insulin shot). He had great understanding for his parents and what they experienced surviving the depression. He loved and appreciated his sister. With fond memories and gratitude for the chance of meeting one of God's own.
