Kansas City, Kansas - Bette D. Hawkins, 95, Kansas City, Kansas passed away September 6, 2021. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, September 13, 2021 at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 N. 94th St., Kansas City, Kansas 66112. Bette was born August 26, 1926, in Muncie, KS to Myrtle (Smith) and Girley Vincent. She graduated from Turner High School.
Bette retired from Proctor & Gamble in 1996 after 38 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed creating flower arrangements, being with her husband Al at their lake house, and spending time with family and friends.
Bette was preceded in death by son, Darrell Peak in 2004.
Survivors include her husband, Alton Hawkins, Kansas City, KS; son, Ron Peak, Kansas City KS; stepson Rodney Hawkins, Kansas City, KS; stepsons, Richard (Chris) Hawkins, Shawnee, KS and Doug Hawkins, Shawnee, KS; 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
