Nana was a nice person and she taught me a lot about animals. She colored with me, played games with me and played dress up when I was little.
Love you nana - Kate

Carol was a wonderful lady. She took me under her wing as a mentee for bird rehabilitation at Lakeside Nature Center. I remember many days at her home learning to care for birds. My deepest sympathy to John and the family.

Carol was such a special lady. She was welcoming, kind and helpful to each of us in choir; always fun and upbeat.
She now rests in God's arms. We will miss her.

May God bless John and her family with comfort and peace.

We enjoy our memories of Carol at the farm, talking about nature, playing bells at St. Marks, and her and John's train show. She is a beautiful person inside and out and we'll miss her.
Sincerely,

20 years ago I sat at the feet of the songbird master! As a new Lakeside volunteer I couldn't learn enough from our resident expert.

Through Flower, Lawn and Garden shows, bird rehab and Christmas auctions I counted Carol as a friend and mentor. I'll miss her!

John and boys- you have my deepest sympathy.

Carol was a long time friend and neighbor to my in laws. I will never forget how she cared for the baby birds and squirrels with so much knowledge. She will definitely be missed by us.

Carol will definitely be missed. She was the 'bird' person for Lakeside Nature and the editor of the newsletter, Volunteer Update. She was a true friend.

Carol was loved by many and was a great friend to wildlife! Anyone who learned about birds through her had the best training foundation. She was a dedicated volunteer for Friends of Lakeside Nature Center and will truly be missed. Sharon Goff
