I remember meeting Carol the first time when I taught James at St. Therese Little Flower in a Title I program. Years later she acknowledged me in front of a large group of people at a district meeting. She paid me a compliment which I always remembered. My prayers go out to James and the family.

My memories of Carol go back to West Paseo Christian Church. Later I recall her being a student teacher @ Southeast when I was a senior. She had to remind me I could not call her Carol at school. That was hard to change. My condolences to the entire family and understand she is enjoying a fullness of life.

I am very sorry to see this about a wonderful teacher from Southeast High School. "Miss Webb" held a fantastic love for the English language and saw to it that all her students shared in this with her. She was truly one of my favorite teachers there and I will be forever grateful for her presence in my life. Our teachers can add so much to the good in our lives. Thank you so much for contributing to my young life and that contribution has been carried over throughout the years. Safe journey. May God bless you forever.

Carol and members of my household, B J, Alan, Pam, and Val, were more than friends, we were all the best of friends. Carol and I were "soul mates" as well as professional colleagues. She and husband, David, and son, James David, visited us in our country home several years ago. We had a memorable weiner roast in the timber: bugs, snakes, and all kinds of critters joined in the fun.
