Lee's Summit, Missouri - Charles Joseph "Joe" Flynn, age 71, passed away Saturday July 31, 2021. Joe was born on September 25, 1949 in Kansas City, Missouri to Charles Henry Flynn and Ethel Pauline (Bury) Flynn. He was united in marriage May 3, 1969 to Judy Kay Flynn who survives him. He is also survived by his daughters Lorrie Flynn and Patty (Richard) Kralicek, his grandchildren Preston Kralicek (Allie Sybert) and Sammy (Nick) Kirk, his brothers David (Kim) Flynn and George 'Ron' Flynn, his sisters Judy Ann Dennis (Tom Esquivel), Dianne (Jimmy) Stutts and Theresa Smith, his brother-in-law Larry (Em) Leonard, and his sister-in-law Pam (Fred) Hackney. He is preceded in death by his brother Terry Flynn and sister Paula (Johnny) Harvey, brother-in-law John Burke, and his best friend Captain.
Joe will be remembered most as a great thinker, a genius, the inventor of parallel path technology and for helping the world in advancements in magnetic and motor technology. He was most famous in our family for making the best black eyed peas every New Year's Day – starting us all off with good luck each year. 2022 will not be same.
Joe will be missed by all dearly. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 25, 1-4, at 448 NW 1411 Road, Holden, Missouri, 64040 (816-726-4399).
