CHRISTOPHER CASEY CIESLA

August 27, 1983- April 30, 2010 Christopher Casey Ciesla, 26, passed away April 30, 2010, at Centerpoint Medical Center. Visitation will be held Tuesday May 4, 2010, from 12-1 p.m. at Meyers Funeral Chapel, 1600 West Main Street, Blue Springs, MO 64015, 816-229-3276. Memorial Service will follow at the chapel at 1 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society. Casey was born August 27, 1983, in Buffalo, New York, to James and Angela (Cassidy) Ciesla. He graduated from Blue Springs High School in 2001. He went on to graduate from Missouri State University in 2005 with a Degree in Wildlife Biology. He worked for A. Zerega's Sons. He was a past member of BSHS Golden Regiment. Casey loved cooking, gardening, traveling, and hiking. He was a professional musician and had formerly played lead guitar for the Tiffany Christopher Band. He was preceded in death by his father Jim Ciesla and maternal grandfather Daniel Cassidy. Survivors include: mother of the home, Angela Ciesla; brother of the home, Colin Ciesla; paternal grandparents, Theodore & Eleanor Ciesla, Cheektowaga, New York; maternal grandmother Catherine Cassidy, Blue Springs, MO; girlfriend Heather Jarvis, Blue Springs, MO.
