Dale Maddox Obituary
April 7, 1936 - October 27, 2024
Cameron, Missouri - Dale Lee Maddox, born April 7, 1936 in Plattsmouth Nebraska, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alle Maddox and Ida Belle Zumault and brother, Harold (Corky) Maddox. He left behind his wife of 60 years, Pat Maddox, brothers, Al and Larry, sons and spouses, Duke (Michelle), Curt (Maury), grandchildren, Lexi, Duke II, Margo and Cooper as well as many nephews and nieces.
Dale was a Pied Piper for all children.
A mentor for all teens.
A gifted athlete for Northeast High-school.
A Quarterback for Bigger Jigger semi-pro team during his "Glory Days"
A Tank Commander for the Marines.
A 4 time "hole-in-one" golfer.
A Giver, never a Taker.
A gift from God to all of his family and friends.
And just a rock-solid good guy who was loved by all.
Dale was a lifelong Kansas City resident until he spent his final five years at Missouri Veterans Home in Cameron MO. His family wishes to express their love and thankfulness to the wonderful staff at the Vets Home who took such good care of him.
A Celebration of Life is planned for December 27th from 1:00-5:00 at St Pius High Scool Athletic Field House, 3700 Davidson Rd, KCMO.
