I had the pleasure of working with Dan for a number of years at Channel 5. His office used to be right next to mine, and when we both worked nights, he would come in and we would talk, and I would always search him out when my computer crashed. I'll miss the talks and my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Dan was a true gentleman. He was eager to learn, eager to please, and always had a smile and something kind to say about everyone. It was a pleasure to be in Dan's company and he will surely be missed by all whose lives he touched. It was an honor to have known him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Dan, was one of the nicest guys I ever met, he always had a smile on his face and loved talking about his family.
He was a good man and respected by all who knew him. You have my deepest sympathy on your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Cherry, I am so sorry to hear about Dan's passing. I took Dan's place at KSMO and then one yr later came to work at 5. Dan was a hard worker and always on the move. I will miss his presence at the station. We are out of town this wk so will not be able to attend his memorial service, but will be thinking of you all and keeping you in our prayers.
