I have known Danny for a long time and as we changed through the years I can never think of a time that he was not friendly and kind to me. I am sad to hear that he is gone and I wish you happy memories in your healing.

Dan was one of the best friends anybody could have. He was always willing to pitch in. Our annual Superbowls parties are some of my favorite memories with Dan and the world is a little sadder without him.

Dan was a very good friend of mine, and we helped each other through some tough years preceding his accident. He was a loyal, honorable man who made a great difference in my life just by knowing him and loving him. I will miss him so very much. My heartfelt sympathies go out to his great family and all whose lives Dan had touched with his perserverance, great sense of humor, and great lust for life. I feel very lucky to have been one of them.

My deepest sorrow for Dan's passing. He was a friend of mine for many years, but after a while we lost touch. My best memmory of him was in 1980. Me and my brother Gary stayed with him and his Grandmother for about one month. I'll never forget him and his Grandmother at the store. She was so cute and the way he took care of her. She wanted to make Manhattens and he would not let her. I will alway's remember the look in his eye's when he told her no. I will miss him greatly.

Jack and Carol,
We are so very sorry to hear the news about your loss of Dan. We have many fond memories of the float trips we had with Dan in the Ozarks, where he first developed his love of whitewater canoeing. Our thoughts are with you both at this most difficult time.
