David Gribble Obituary

David A. Gribble, 65, of Kansas City, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2003, as a result of an auto accident. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. followed by services at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 30, at the Park Lawn Chapel, Hillcrest Road at 83rd Street. David was born February 10, 1938 in Columbus, KS. He attended Pittsburg State Teachers' College and was a member of Alpha Phi Omega. He served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of Blue Ridge United Methodist Church and the Sugar Creek Optimist Club. David leaves his wife of 39 years, Kathryn R. Gribble, of the home; his son and daughter-in-law, Jon and Kristi Gribble, Shawnee, KS; his granddaughter, Kati; a brother, Martin Gribble, Kansas City, KS; and several nieces and nephews. I was sorry to hear of the passing of my Great Uncle David. I regret I only met him a few times. Although,I've been told many stories about him from my father,uncles and grandmother (David's sister, JoAnne). My thoughts are with his family and friends.
