DEAN HAROLD CULP Dean Harold Culp, 89, of Leawood, KS, passed away Sunday, October 22, 2017. He was born June 19, 1928 in Seneca, MO, to Carl and Ethel Culp. As a young man Dean and his twin brother Gene traveled to Southern California to work at the W.K. Kellogg Ranch. He served two years in the U.S. Army. Dean married Geneva Mhoon of Seneca, MO, on Dec. 19, 1952. He spent 43 years with Safeway Stores Incorporated, advancing to Industrial Relations Branch Manager. He was a member of Gideon International. Dean is survived by loving wife, Geneva; children, Vicki Culp-Smith of Leawood, KS, Greg Culp of Blue Springs, MO, and Kevin Culp of St. Peter's MO; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Visitation at 1 p.m. with service following at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26, at Church of the Resurrection Wesley Chapel, 13720 Roe Ave., Leawood, KS. Burial at Johnson County Cemetery immediately following.
